Vet

To begin with the begining, let me start with some basic iformation about this job. Vet is a person who is skilled in the treatment of animal diseases and injuries. Particularly, farm and domestic animals are healed by vets.

Let me characterise this job firstly. Although some would say that vet is a kind of job where the doctor can meet cuter and cuter pets. However, being a vet sometimes can be  extremely hard and tedious. He should be on alert in the 24 hours of the day, because an urgent case can come in every minute.

Continuing with the difficulties of this job, communication makes the work harder. What I mean is that the doctor cannot speak to the patient, and it is not able to tell its pains and feelings of the illness. That is why, it is essential that not only should the veterian  know the anatomy of the animals, but also he must learn and recognise the behaviour of animals. He must know what act refers to what illnesses. It is also pretty significant because of avoiding bites, schratches and any attacks of animals. In other words it is hightly probable to get hurt during the examination.

Anyway…what should you be like to become a veterian? Answering the question, one of the most elmentary features of a vet is that he must love animals. The second basic characteristic is that he must not b afraid of any animal. To give an example if someone was afraid of dogs, just imagine what he could do with an ill dog, who has pains and is nervous.

To tell the truth, this job is not really advisable for women, because sometimes huge phisical force is neded. I am aware of the fact, that the largr the animal is, the more force is necessary to make it calm, and sometimes the mammal should kept down, that the vet could give the injection. Despite this fact we can meet female veterians, but I would say that there are much more male vets than female ones.
