TV programmes
First of all, let me mention some facts which should be considered about the appliance of TV. A few years ago, television appeared in entertainment industry since then it has become very dominant part of our life. It has a negative side what it is to give rays and it can cause matters with eyes. However, newer ones are safe and are not damaging.
Let me continue with its effect on children. According to statistics an average child watches TV about 5 hours a day. It includes, that the child’s mindis influenced very harsly by the programmes watched. Parents are elementarily responsible for their children’s tastes and possibilities. The more a child watches violent films, the more likely he becomes agressive or has an idea to play agressive games. The more time is spent in front of the TV, the less time is devoted reading, learning, and maintaining relationships with family.
Several kinds of TV programmes can we distinguish, like documentaries, sports, films, serieses, shows, soaps, cartoons. Despite the fact that producers know that not only can adults watch films, but also children can observe different agressive, violent, bloody movies. The matter is that parents do not pay enough attention for what their kids watch on TV. Numerous films are marked with the age number, which is a warning, but nobody takes it seriously. Neither those who mark films, because number 12 is on all the films, even on films for children.
In my view Tv programmes could be also useful, because from some programme and channel, you can learn, as well. TV is exist to entertain people, but sometimes it is pretty annoying, when you switch channels, and all the programmes are boring.
