The Day after Tomorrow

            It is an exciting film, which was organised by Roland Emmerich. The leading characters are Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal and Emmy Rossum. It is an American disaster film, which takes place in the USA, in the far or maybe the near future mainly in New York.

            The story is the next: Jack Hall was a climatologist, who said that it would be a total rise in temperature of our planet’s atmosphere, that was proved by his researches. He saw an as large block of ice as an islad that had broken off the Soth Pole’s great field of ice. The process caused with dramaric quickness disastrous weather in different places arond the Earth. Tornadoes and high tide destroyed towns all over the world. Who survived the first storms, escaped towards South. Although only one man, Dr. Hall would have wanted to get to New York. While the professor sought his son, the boy and his school mates stayed in a library and they had to heat, if they didn’t want to frreeze to death. In the meantime they began to run out of their food. So they went over a frozen ship which was in front of the library. They fetched tinned food and medicine, but this small trip nearly cost their life. Finally Dr. Hall saved them, he called helicpoters there when the storm had stopped and the air had cleared up.

            In my wiev, it is a very great film, because the actors playing in it are fantastic, and the movie is very sectacular. I am under the impression that the message of the film is a warning for humans. As the more the air-pollution is, the larger the chance that the film comes true. I would suggest that leaders of companies and politics should see the film and consider it carefully.
